Anomalous Appetites is an anthology of speculative poetry and artwork compiled and edited by New Zealand-based poet and writer John Irvine in 2008. First published in 2009, it contains two of my sci-faiku plus three short sci-fi/dark fantasy prose poems. It was a great project to be involved with though the collection never achieved the circulation it deserved. Not Expecting Fish is an anthology of poetry I put together for the Gatehouse Press in 2007. Subtitled 'Poems of love, loss and life – or something like it' – it carried 46 poems by students on the University of East Anglia's 2007 Creative Writing Diploma course and, at the time, was Gatehouse's biggest selling publication to-date.
